Burnout and Automation

Humans weren't made to sit down on a desk, stare at a computer and click the same buttons everyday but we do! In NZ, 34.6% of a sample work was burnt out and while we aren't the highest in the world - that's a 1/3rd of the population here.

It shouldn't have to be that way, while it is generally accepted that automating your processes can help - there is still a clear pushback on this. Could it be fear?

When you automate, are you afraid of the following?

1. "I will have to fire or replace staff" - While we always love our human colleagues, downsizing and streamlining a business is the best way to be efficient and grow. However, in most cases, automation can actually provide other avenues or areas to grow and require brain power to think on strategy.

2. "I'm afraid of high costs"- Yes, automation can be expensive - particularly physical automation with the use of physical machinery. Absolutely, there is no doubt about it. But, you don't have to think about costs without thinking of returns. And digital automation is actually a lot more cost effective than you think.

3. "I don't know where to start" - Simple, it starts with a conversation and a question - like most things. Truth be told, Robotic process automation, is fairly new and not a lot of businesses have adopted the practice when it can be easily done so.

Here at Robot-Hub, we genuinely want to help to solve problems. We'll do a site visit where you walk us through your entire journey and we'll help deliver ideas and process recommendations to help you.
